One of the best ways to engage in all that the College of Engineering has to offer is to join a student club and meet with others to share your college experiences with. On Thursday, Aug. 30, the college will be hosting it’s biannual Engineering Club Rush, an opportunity to meet with all the various engineering clubs on campus.
The event will be held Aug. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the outside patio on the lower level of the Warnock Engineering Building.
This fall semester, more than 20 clubs, including organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, RoboUtes and more, will be on hand to greet new students and invite them to join.
“The College of Engineering Club Rush is an excellent chance for new and returning students to meet and engage with engineering opportunities outside of the classroom,” said Amy Arkwright, College of Engineering academic program coordinator. “We hope that students will take advantage of this event and browse through all the diverse options to get involved!”
