The University of Utah College of Engineering’s annual Research Report for 2021 is now out, and it features some of the amazing work going on in the engineering campus.
Featured is a story on the innovative research into cybersecurity by some of our faculty. They are using the latest techniques in artificial intelligence and machine learning in an effort to help keep our nation’s most important infrastructure systems secure. Also read about the incredible research projects some of our students are conducting that one day may hit the market and help improve our quality of life.
There are also featured profiles of faculty members and their research, including biomedical engineering assistant professor Lucas Timmins and mechanical engineering assistant professor Roseanne Warren, who is working on a method to convert coal char into parts for rechargeable batteries.
