The new spring newsletter from the University of Utah’s College of Engineering is out now, profiling some of the biggest stories to come out of the college so far this year.
Those include the historic new research agreement the University of Utah has made with the Idaho National Laboratory that will increase collaborations between researchers at both institutions. Also, you can read about the new master’s degree in secure computing and other new certificates available through the School of Computing that cover important issues such as fairness in artificial intelligence and deep learning.
Also profiled is chemical engineering alumnus Michael Stubblefield, who has had a front seat in the development of the new Covid-19 vaccines through his medical technologies company, Avantor.
