Rocky Mountain Nanotechnology, LLC (RMN) supplies specialized Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) probes to universities, research laboratories and semiconductor fabrication facilities all over the world. Currently, an additional technician is needed. This could be an undergraduate or graduate student that can work part time (10-15 hours/week). The position entails fabrication and calibration of specialized solid platinum AFM probes. The fabrication process is interesting and requires significant attention to detail. After training for the job, the work can be scheduled at almost any time during the week, including evenings, weekend, etc. The wage is negotiable. No previous experience is necessary. The job could eventually become full-time. If interested, please contact the owner of RMN, Clayton Williams (Emeritus Professor of Physics), by email (ccwilliams6@gmail.com).
