High School Summer Research Internship

Participants will learn how to conduct academic research, discover different types of engineering, and create a poster project on what they learned. This program is for 8 weeks, for 30 hours per week.

There are no educational requirements, anyone graduating in 2026 or 2027 can apply, but math readiness and basic technical skills may be necessary depending on the research.

This internship comes at no cost to participate; however, participants will not receive compensation. Housing will not be provided. This is a competitive program; space may be limited. This experience will provide a boost for students’ college application by allowing them a head start into working in a laboratory setting.
