Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides undergraduate students and faculty members the opportunity to work together on research or creative projects. UROP provides assistantships up to $1200 for any first-time UROP student who assists with a faculty member’s research or creative project, or who carries out a project of her/his own under the supervision of a faculty member. Trust and Reproducibility of Intelligent Computation (TREU)
Applications from undergraduate students ofall levels (US Citizens, Permanent Residents) will be selected for a 10-week NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates Traineeship. Held from June 1st till August 10th, 2023, this traineeship will be offered on campus of the University of Utah in the Kahlert School of Computing, located near the majestic Wasatch Mountain ranges. The application deadline is April 15, 2023, and we expect to fund only about 10 REUs.
The selected students will earn a stipend of $7,200 for this period and be compensated for airfare, room and board.
