Thanks to significant new support from State leaders, the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering is now offering a dollar-for-dollar match for scholarship gifts of $1,000 and above. Gifts of $1,000 and above will be matched with $1,000. This additional match represents a tremendous opportunity to leverage your scholarship support.
Last year’s scholarship challenge generated more than $1.6 million. These scholarships may be awarded in your name, or in the name of someone you wish to honor. You will be invited to meet your scholarship recipient at the annual scholarship banquet in the fall. This is a great opportunity to leverage your scholarship gift with a significant match.
Within the ranks of our students today are the pioneers and innovators of tomorrow. A growing number have been deeply affected by the pandemic, putting them at risk for delaying graduation or dropping out altogether. Each new class of engineering and computer science graduates represents the human capital we need to help the economy recover and create solutions to the problems of the future.
More than 480 scholarships are awarded each year to recruit top students and reward academic excellence. Free tutoring is available to support retention, particularly in the early critical years. The student experience is enriched by activities such as the Entrepreneurship Challenge and Tech Titans competition, Engineers Without Borders, and a number of international study abroad options. Educational offerings for engineering students include exposure to business, ethics and law.
The College remains committed to producing graduates who are prepared to succeed in industry or graduate school, and who are competitive with graduates from the best schools in the nation.
